Copies of all planning applications submitted to Sedgemoor District Council for development within the parish are sent to Goathurst Parish Council for consideration and comment on valid planning grounds.  All applications are decided by Sedgemoor District Council, either by the Planning Control Department or by the monthly Development Committee Meeting, under a Scheme of Delegation.  Applications will be placed on the Agenda at the next scheduled Parish Council bi-monthly meeting where response time allows, otherwise an additional planning meeting may be arranged following consultation with Councillors.  Applicants and members of the public are welcome to attend meetings.

Digital copies of planning applications, information on the scheme of delegation and other useful guidance are available at www.sedgemoor.gov.uk/planning.  Members of the public can make comments on planning applications to the Parish Council and/or development.management@sedgemoor.gov.uk. 

 

Sedgemoor District Council no longer produce hard copies of applications.
